Cookies Policy
Version 1.0 · effective 8 October 2026
1. What this policy covers
This policy explains how REPLICA TECHNOLOGIES S.R.L. ("Replica", "we") uses cookies and similar technologies on the website www.replicacopier.com and in the user portal. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we process personal data and what rights you have.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser and can read on later visits. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage or pixels, work in a comparable way. This policy applies to all of them.
3. Legal basis
Under Article 4(5) of Romanian Law no. 506/2004, storing information in your device or accessing information stored in it is permitted only with your agreement, given after you have received clear and complete information, including about the purpose of the processing. Under Article 4(6)(b) of the same law, operations strictly necessary to provide a service you have expressly requested are exempt. Strictly necessary cookies are therefore placed without consent, and all other cookies only after you agree. Where cookies involve the processing of personal data, the legal basis is the performance of the contract for strictly necessary cookies (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and your consent for the others (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
4. Cookies we use
We do not use advertising or ad-targeting cookies, and we do not sell the information collected through cookies.
5. How you give and withdraw consent
On your first visit, the website displays a banner that lets you accept or refuse non-essential cookies with equal ease, or choose the categories you accept. Boxes for optional categories are not pre-ticked. Until you give your consent, only strictly necessary cookies are placed. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of prior use. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, in which case some portal functions, such as signing in, may no longer work. For cookies set by third parties (the payment processor and the analytics provider), the general purpose of their processing by those third parties is stated in Section 4; you can delete them or refuse third-party access to the stored information in your browser's privacy settings, including by blocking third-party cookies.
6. The desktop application
The Replica application for Windows does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The application's settings and your broker connection details are stored locally on your device, as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when we change the cookies we use or their providers. If we introduce a new category of cookies that requires consent, we will ask for your consent again. For any question, write to us at support@replicacopier.com.
